100%! Going to space would be an absolute dream, and walking on the surface of another planet would represent such a culmination of scientific effort for humanity, how could I not?
Realistically though; going to Mars will require huge effort from everyone involved; they certainly won’t be taking tourists for a while! The first few trips are likely to be one-way, and everyone on the mission will need to be amazingly skilled. Unfortunately I don’t think I can offer that much benefit to a current mission!

I would love to visit Mars, but I don’t think I could be one of the first people to visit as those will be one way trips. I wouldn’t want to leave behind my family and friends! Also you would have to be very clever and talented to take part, and I’m not quite sure I would make the cut!
An opportunity to visit and then return to Earth? Send me on the next trip!

I don’t think I would! If you’d have asked me 10 years ago, I would have leaped at the opportunity! I always wanted to be an astronaut. But now, I think my adult brain has caught up with me and tells me I would be too scared to go if it actually came down to it!
