      The furthest place we can see is the edge of the observable universe, which is about 46 billion light-years away. The really interesting thing about this is that because the light has taken so much time to reach us, we are actually looking into the past! The objects that we see from this light probably don’t exist any more because it was such a long time ago. Pretty awesome!

      This always amazes me, even though I have heard it so many times. I still think the concept that we are actually seeing things that might not even exist now because the light has taken so long to travel to us is crazy!
